A portrait doesn't show how many wrinkles or freckles you have, it shows how you are recognised by your authenticity.

As a broadcasting student, I must admit that I have been dealing in hell. Rushing for deadlines week, recording, scripting, team assignments, and lots and lots of it.
If anyone ever say that, "ahh, you are a communication student? You must party a lot." Hell NO! Even we barely catch time for lunch. That's about it.
So you should consider twice or more to choose this subject as your major, but I promise, you'll somehow thank every minutes you have in your life. You'll love it!
One thing you'll definitely love about this major, you'll able to find people with different perspective yet same passion as your.

From this major, I met Natalia Singa and Salem Afifi. Natalia has been my friend since I was in foundation in mass communication. She's a very talented make up artist from Kota Kinabalu. P.S: look what she has done to my eyebrow! And Salem, he's a photographer from Oman, we started learning photography in the same class 6 months ago, and look how he becomes so great now!

Besides facing massive weekends and weekdays, we, as broadcasting people tend to neglect our health sometimes, but somehow we manage to go for treadmill or weight lifting at the gym in our campus, at least 30 minutes a day, 4 times a week. Good enough.

Improving my health and how my body looks is how I thank what God has given to me, besides, I always appreciate my appearance regardless what people want me to look like.
I used to be so obsessed of being skinny so I would look good in the camera last time, I weight 44kgs with height 165cm, however, I don't feel that's what I need and want my body to go through that kind of sickening diets, and no clothes in the stores fit me anymore!
Those clothes just appeared lose and I looked just like a plain square thin figure with clothes on. After few times enjoying my life and improving what I eat, I gained 5kgs and feel good about it. I feel fresh, stronger and never been better.
Strong is the new Sexy and Curvy is the new Skinny. Be thankful of how you look in the mirror, in spite of being feather light and size zero, try to work on that muscle girls. You'll gain much more confident.
When was the last time you look at the mirror and thanked God of your freckles, moles, chubby cheeks, or tilted nose? If those how you are, embrace it, that's how you are being known by the world.
Make up by: Natalia Singa (@nataliasinga) | Photographed by: Salem Afifi (@salemafifi_photography)
Wardrobe: Blazer (Miss Selfridge), Pants (Zara)
Love,
Liv
