I will run to some place, where the paddy grows, and the sky has no limit. All I see is green and blue.
After Ariel, Nathan, Yi Sheng, Wilson and me voluntarily worked for Enfagrow Expo, and earned a little money, I flipped my coin again. Whether to save up the whole money or spend a little bit on a trip.
Sekinchan here we go!
One day under the sun at Pasar Seni got my friends and me drive all over to Sekinchan. After that one day of photo shooting and wandering around Pasar Seni, we set another day for a road trip.
During the study week, I was told that my dying culture script '30 Seconds' about Sungkem (Indonesian custom to kiss parents hand before leaving the house to show respect) was chosen to go into production, and grouped with Ariel and Cindy, my two besties from the same country :)
Since, my script setting supposed to be in Bali, Jogjakarta, and Jakarta, Indonesia, we chose Sekinchan, Selangor, to be our destination for establishing shoot because the paddy fields reminds us of Ubud, Bali. So, ya'll know it's a 'tipu shot' now or shooting another reachable place that is similar to a place that is not possible to reach. And Hey! Sekinchan is only 30 minutes from Bandar Sunway!
Sekinchan has the cheapest and yet satisfying food so far after my 2 years stay in Malaysia. There were 8 of us and we ordered 7 huge menus, with rice and drinks. I had prepared that it would cost us up to RM40 per person, but after we split up, it costed only RM18! Here's one of the food that we ordered. Es muy delicioso!
Lilian said, there's always a room for dessert. And yes! I screamed for dessert, the whole 2 hours of shooting, I kept thinking about blackball, because it was the first restaurant that has obvious banner once we had arrived in Sekinchan.
Blackball in Sekinchan is probably the best place for chilling if you guys plan to visit Sekinchan.
It has wifi, it's near to the paddy field that we went to, and it is quiet!
We sat and chilled there for almost 2 and a half hours before we decided to go back and hit SS2 for dinner.
1 week of holiday was totally well-spent. Good food, new experiences, friends, road trip, and comfortable weather. What else I could ask for more?
